House Resolution 314 by Representative Lyons requests that the Louisiana Department of Health provide access to vaccines and information on the diseases they prevent to areas of need.

Your voice is more important than ever. Whooping cough is a vaccine preventable disease that has resulted in the deaths of two infants in Louisiana this year. Measles has killed 2 children in Texas and could impact Louisiana’s kids as well as vaccination rates in many areas are below the 95% needed to prevent measles outbreaks. This legislation will ensure all Louisianans have the information and access they need to make the right decisions for their families.
