We urgently call on the Department to expand access to vaccines and improve communication about preventable diseases.

As we move through respiratory virus season—and with pertussis and other outbreaks rising across the country—Louisianans deserve the freedom to make informed choices based on clear, evidence-based information and access to all proven vaccines.

We ask the Department to:

• Make vaccines easier to access statewide, and

• Share timely, accurate updates about outbreaks and vaccine options.

Now more than ever, the freedom to access protection and trusted information are essential to keeping Louisiana families safe and healthy.
