House Bill 87 would disincentivize schools and businesses from requiring COVID-19 or any vaccine authorized for emergency use by allowing people to file lawsuits against businesses and schools if they require these vaccines. This will put Louisiana, and especially our kids, in a uniquely vulnerable situation should we have another public health emergency with a novel disease.
This bill failed to pass on the House floor on Wednesday, March 20, but legislators are RECONSIDERING it.
